Hello lovely friends and students!
Spring is finally here in the Pacific Northwest and isn't it wonderful? The sun is shining (mostly!) and the birds in my yard are nesting. In addition to taking a walk out in the nice weather I've been trying to complete a pair of tropical bird paintings. Here they are in their nearly completed state:

I've also been busy settling into my spring classes. I have several sweet students in my after school Wednesday and my regular Tuesday afternoon classes. We are having a lot of fun exploring animal themes and learning some new art techniques.

Girl Scouts Workshops are still rolling in like crazy too! I really enjoy engaging all these eager artists. Recently I switched up our clay projects and tried three-dimensional birds! They are turning out so sweet!
